About Lotus engine exchange & track group
track-group originated in 2004 as track-club with the advent of the UK’s first track day hire club and from there organisation has grown steadily branching out into motorsport and specialist engineering services.
track-group now comprises of two main operations – track-club providing track day and motorsport services and track-powertrain providing engine build and specialist electronics support.
The powertrain division engine build and test shop is a world motorsport level facility with four engine build stations dedicated gearbox build room, 1000 sqft parts department and Froude 201 engine dyno.
track-powertrain specialises in the production and testing of road, track and race lotus engines for every post 1996 Lotus Elise, Exige, Exige V6, Evora & 2-Eleven.
track-powertrain has built over 150 engines for various Lotus based club level racing series' boasting over 50 race wins and multiple championships.
